A little dose of life...

Hey Everyone!

So we're taking a detour from make-up, fashion, hair and all those things that make us look fabulous.

We figured that just because we're HDCandy didn't mean that we couldn't blog about life. I mean, we are humans too right? Ordinary humans living ordinary lives.

We face many dilemmas in life, whether those are educational stresses or financial difficulties. There comes a time in our lives when we wish that we could be someone else. It's natural! The grass is always greener on the other side! We prefer to be someone who we perceive to be better off than us, without actually knowing everything about them. For all we know, they may want to be us for a completely different reason!

Times of hardship are dealt with differently. Some prefer to bottle it all up to the point where they can't sleep, eat, drink or think straight. Others on the other hand prefer to get high/drunk to the point where they forget all about their problems. Which way is the right way? Well...neither!

All problems have a solution. Solutions may not hit us in the face like problems do, but with careful thought, every problem can be resolved. The best thing to do is talk to someone. If you don't feel comfortable speaking to a family member, then speak to a close friend. If you don't want to speak to a friend then that's ok too.....counsellors and agony aunts exist for a reason! Sometimes it may be easier to speak to a stranger than someone you know, mainly due to the fear of being judged. Well if speaking to a stranger is less stressful for you - do it!

The aim is to get rid of all the negatively and embrace a positive attitude and point of view. Only then will it be possible to come up with a solution.

"You can never solve a problem on the level on which it was created"

                                                                                     Albert Einstein

So stay positive, chin up and fight those evil demons!

And remember, HDCandy is always here to listen to your problems, if there just isn't anyone out there who listens to you.

Love, Peace and Awesomeness

HDCandy xXxXx

Tht is inspirational...i guess ppl neva luk @ life wiv the hole "da glass isnt half empty its half full" attitude. Buh wah duz sum1 do wen all doors seem shut? X

The glass is always half full, even though at times it may seem that the glass is non existent, let alone half empty.

Well there are a lot of things one could do:

* Religion plays a very big part. We may find comfort in reading holy scriptures. There's always something for everyone to read, provide strength and hold on to.

* Wait and see - sometimes it is best to do nothing. Decisions made under stress or anger are often those that don't actually help. For a short time, don't hold on to your problems. A good way of doing that is to distract yourself - read a book, have a clean out, sort your wardrobe out (read HDCandy blogs :P)...Calm yourself down and only then, think about your problems logically (key word being logically)

* NEVER give up hope. There is ALWAYS a way. Remember: when one door closes, another one opens!

Hope it helps... X

We do a little of all 3 of the options we spoke about. I wouldn't say we are strictly religious but we do believe in God and practice our religions. We do have patience and believe that "good things come to those who wait".

Mainly, we talk to each other. About everything and anything. We text, call, skype, visit, go out...no matter in which way, but we always find a way to communicate and talk about our problems.

Hope this helps....X

this was a really lovely note, i especially loved the quote by Einstein. I understand all to well the feeling of bottling up emotions, and loosing sleep over it. I felt that way when my mother died. it had gotten to the point when my days became nights. I met a very wonderful person whom i started talking to about my mum and it helped alot. Talking really seems to help. thanx for this HD Candy =)

i know my share of pain, physical pain, emotional pain...i believe we all have our fair share of pain. Currently i am going through a rough time in my life, and I've chosen to deal with it,by speaking to someone very close to me. It helps somewhat. I believe i would have to reach the bottom before i can build my way back up. it was a pleasure reading this...thank you. Maybe you can double as motivational speakers as well as stylist..lol

Chin up missy, everything is going to work out just fine! Think of it this way - when you have reached the bottom, the only way to go is up!

You're absoloutely right, we're all going to have our fair share of troubles...that's what enables us to call this little game 'life'

We're very glad you are talking to someone about it and not just bottling it up inside you. Once again, as for all HDCandy followers, we are always here to help, support, guide and advise you lovely people. So please don't hesitate to ask us for help/share your problems.

Lol well if the styling doesn't work out at least we know we'll have a second option of career choice :)

Absoloutely! Everyone faces some kind of problem at some point in their life. We couldn't agree more...

Some face bigger problems than others. But either way, a problem shared is a problem halved. Once again, HDCandy is always here if ever the need shall arise where you need to speak to someone/advise.
